Wilensky, Avraham (“Avi”)


Son of Jacob and Yocheved. He was born on the 20th of Adar I 5708 (February 20, 1948) in Haifa and completed his studies at the “Shalva” elementary school and since 1964 he was a member of the “Ort” school, where he received his theoretical training in the electric profession, He was a good student and was diligent in his studies with understanding and devotion, and was accepted by his friends and teachers alike, and he was very well-behaved and very sociable, and he was drafted into the IDF in August 1966 and volunteered for the paratroopers. The Six Day War broke out and the battle took place on the bridge near the Gaza fire, which was sent from the enemy post and thus he died. He was buried in the military cemetery in Bari and later brought to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
