In mid-August 1979, he was drafted into the Armored Corps in the south of the country, and soon became acquainted with his commanders, who immediately noticed his relaxed and relaxed nature, and was able to continue his studies at the Technion in Haifa, After a few years he studied computer programming and graduated cum laude, and in February 1992 he was called up for reserve service, from which he did not return. On February 17, 1992, he fell while filling During his tour of southern Israel, Zvika’s car overturned, and he was mortally wounded. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Haifa’s Carmel Beach. Survived by his parents, three sisters and brother – Nehama, Yosefa, Dalia and Yair. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, the unit commander wrote: “For three years Zvika served in our unit, was a disciplined soldier, responded to every reserve order that was called to him and performed his service with great devotion.”
