Wikler Chasia
Daughter of Israel and Pesia. She was born on 11/22/1952 in Hadera and studied at Merhavim School and the agricultural high school in Pardes Hannah. She had a talent for writing and she used to write her impressions in a life diary. She studied sport, studied ballet and progressed very well in this area. Hassia was a devoted and loyal daughter, respected her parents, loved them very much and cared for them sincerely. It is not surprising, therefore, that this was also the attitude of parents toward her. When she was at home, he was filled with light, laughter, joy and love. Hasia was recruited to the IDF at the end of February 1971 and joined the Nahal Brigade. Her parents wanted her to leave the army and marry the permanent girlfriend from Sde Eliezer, but she refused and replied, “If that’s what you want, I’ll sign for the permanent army.” She did not want to leave the army and asked to finish her regular service, because she loved life in the army and planned to continue in the army even after her marriage and even to take an officer’s course. Hassia kept her army uniform and even when she came home on holiday she did not want to change them. During her service, she reached the rank of corporal, but her service lasted only a little over a year.In light of the day of the 6th of Iyar 5732 (19.4.1972), Chasia fell during her service and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Pardes Hannah.
