Weizmann, Shmuel
Son of Zahara and Solomon. Shmuel was born in Casablanca, Morocco in 1948. In 1955, the family immigrated to Israel and settled in Ashkelon, where Shmuel studied at the Rambam Religious State School in Givat Zion. After graduating from elementary school, he began studying at the ORT school and then went to study at a vocational training school in Kiryat Malachi, where he studied at the Bnei Akiva branch and was active in the Gadna. After completing his studies, Shmuel enlisted in the IDF and served in the paratroopers during the Six-Day War, and was drafted into the Israel Police in May 1969.
