Weizmann, Moshe

Son of Hanna and Zvi, was born on July 9, 1922 in Vienna, the capital of Austria. Immigrated to Eretz Israel in April 1939. He spent two years in the youth training program at Moshav Balfouria and later served as corporal guard at the Royal Air Force base in Ramat David. During the battle in the Muqibila area, he was hit by a bullet and died on July 10, 1948. The body and bodies of his comrades who fell with him in the vicinity of Peku’a and Mukabila were found and gathered after many efforts and searches in the area and on 25.7.1948, they were buried in a mass grave at the military cemetery in Afula.
