Weissman, Yair (“Yaironi”)

Natan and Bluma’s eldest son, Yair was born on 25.12.1949 in Moshav Beit Yosef. At the end of November 1967, he joined the ranks of the IDF and completed a military course as an outstanding trainee. When Yair left the base to repair a connection, shrapnel hit him, killing him. This was on the 21st of Adar 5728 (March 21, 1968). He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Netanya.
