Weiss, Zvi (Heinrich)

Son of Yosef and Tzipora. Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on 27.11.1935, he studied in elementary and high school, and finally at a technical school, where he completed the mechanics course, and immigrated to Israel in 1957. He joined Kibbutz Yassour. And in October 1958 he was drafted into the IDF. Once, while on regular service, he went on holiday and on a trip to Masada he died; This was on the 26th of Tevet 5719 (26.12.1958). He was laid to rest at the cemetery in Kibbutz Yasur. A sports field was established in his kibbutz. The kibbutz also published a booklet in his memory.
