Weiss, Zvi

Was born on 20 March 1922 in Lvov, Poland and immigrated to Israel in 1926. He studied in elementary schools in Kiryat Bialik and Kiryat Haim and later in the “BaMaleh” clerkship school. After the failure of the first attack, on the night of May 30-31, a second attempt was carried out – the “son of Nun Bet” operation – to conquer the Latrun Legion, and the attacking forces encountered a better enemy (May 30, 1948.) He left a wife and a daughter on the 17th of Cheshvan 5710 (17.11.1949), and was brought to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem
