Weintraub, Amos


Amos, son of Frida (Fania) and Shimon-Yosef, was born on 11 March 1951. His thoughts and ideas stirred up a sensitive soul, but he repressed everything inwardly, as if he were afraid to show his feelings in front of a stranger, and he did his work with precision and faith, but quietly and modestly. He always asked for compromise and conciliation and worked to mediate between rivals. Sometimes he liked to do pranks and mischief, but when he was caught, he wore a kind of mask of innocence saying, “Not me.” He loved a man and knew how to know the nature of his interlocutors. He was kind, kind and gentle, and loved his family very much and had a loyal and dedicated son. Amos was conscripted into the IDF in late 1969 and assigned to the Armored Corps, where he was an outstanding trainee, and after his basic training, his pilot fell in an air battle in the skies of Syria, and the army ordered him to be removed from service in a combat unit.
