Weinstock, Yosef (Yossi)

Yossi, son of Chana and Avraham Weinstock, was born in 1975 in Bnei Brak. After a year at the “Karnei Shomron” hesder yeshiva, at the end of July 1994, Yossi enlisted in the IDF and served as a lieutenant in a tank in the armored corps. On the 3rd of Av (30.7.1995), Yossi was killed by a missile when he was exposed in a turret during a battle in southern Lebanon. He laid to rest in the military cemetery at Kiryat Shaul. After his death, he was promoted to the rank of sergeant .
