Weinshelbaum, Chaim

Son of Baba and Moshe was born on 29 August 1957 in Nes Ziona. In October 1975 Chaim was drafted into the IDF and was assigned to serve in the IAF. On the 20th of Tammuz, 5739 (July 15, 1979), Chaim and a pair of helicopters went on a navigation exercise in the Judean Desert, in the Hebron area, during which one of the helicopters crashed and all the crew members were killed. He was buried at the military cemetery in Nes Ziona for two years, leaving behind his parents and brother.
