Weinberger, Yitzhak


Son of Esther and Ephraim, was born in 1922 in Transylvania and when he was three he immigrated to Israel with his parents, who settled in the village of Gideon near Afula. On February 16, 1948, Yitzhak fell from an enemy bullet, standing on his post as a sniper in a front post in Wadi Rushmiya in Haifa and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
