Wayne, Eyal
Son of Ruth and Yehuda, was born on April 29, 1959 in Ramat Gan. He studied at the Hillel elementary school in Ramat Gan and continued his studies at the Meged school in Ra’anana after his parents moved there. He completed his high school studies at ORT in Kfar Saba, in electronics. Eyal was a member of Maccabi in Ramat Gan and later in Ra’anana, and belonged to the Scout movement. He loved sports and was swimming; He also played football, basketball and handball. From an early age he played the accordion. He also sent hand to hand. On July 20, 1977 he enlisted in the IDF, but after a series of courses he became a sergeant in July 1979. In the winter of 1980 he married and moved to Hadera, where his son was born About six weeks after the birth of his son, on the 6th of Cheshvan 5742 (6.11.1981), Eyal stayed at his home and operated an electric drill for some purpose. The drill wires were not working properly, Eyal was electrocuted and died. He was 23 when he died. He was laid to rest in the Hadera military cemetery. He left behind a wife, son, parents, brother and sister.
