Wasserman, Yoram


Yoram, son of Ruth and Yehoshua, a Holocaust survivor and one of the founders of Kibbutz Netzer Sireni, was born on January 21, 1952 in Kibbutz Netzer Sireni and studied at the elementary school and high school in his kibbutz. Yoram was drafted into the IDF in mid-October 1972 and assigned to the Infantry Corps, after completing basic training, was assigned to the Golani Brigade and volunteered for a commando unit with the rank of corporal. He was considered one of the best soldiers in the commando unit and was considered one of the best soldiers in the commando unit, and his commanders appreciated his devotion to the goal and his stubbornness in fulfilling the tasks he had begun and completing successfully. He died in his service on 8.10.1973 and was buried in Nezer Sirini.
