Wasserman, Haim Aryeh
Son of Aaron and Leah. He was born in the town of Radovitz in Bukovina on June 10, 1921. He grew up in a traditional home, which he knew no shortage, and from the dawn of his youth he joined Betar and absorbed Jabotinsky’s teachings, which became his worldview. In 1939 he immigrated to Israel as part of the “illegal” immigration. When he arrived in Israel, he wanted to realize the Torah of his mentor and became a member of the Betar labor company in Netanya, and at the beginning of 1940 became a member of Etzel and became one of the organization’s instructors and officers. He was arrested by the British and sentenced to six years in Acre prison and was drafted into the IDF as a corporal and gradually rose to the rank of major. He was loved by all his knowledge and knowledge. He was a devoted father and was awarded a son who was crowned as a lieutenant, but on 10 March 1968, after he fell ill, died of illness, and left a wife and three children. Fell in the line of duty three months later.
