Walzer, Yaakov-Yehoshua


Son of Meir and Ettel. He was born on June 27, 1940, in the city of Antwerp, Belgium. The three arrived in Israel in 1949. He was drafted into the IDF and served in the Nahal Brigade. Yaakov-Yehoshua fell in the Six Day War, during which he participated in the reserves, on the first day of its battles, on 26 June 1967, in the battle for the liberation of Jerusalem. Was laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
