Wahby, Summer

Ben Hadya and Mo’in. Born on November 2, 1973 in Dalit-El-Carmel. A brother to Hadi, Bassem, Amer, Suha, Huwaida, and Ahlas. Samer attended elementary school and junior high school in his village and completed his high school studies at the Kupatan Halabi High School in his village, where he liked to watch movies and drive heavy equipment. On 15.8.1997 he married Manal, and they had two daughters – Raoufa and Lina. In September 2001, Samar joined the ranks of the career army. Samer loved the army very much and during his service he proved to be a special person whom everyone loved. On February 21, 2002, Samer died of cancer and is thirty years old. Samer was buried in the military cemetery in Isfiya. Survived by his wife, two daughters, parents and six brothers and sisters. Chief of Staff Moshe Ya’alon sent a condolence message to the family, in which he wrote with a heartfelt sigh about the death of a talented counter and a wonderful man who was one of the pillars of the unit.
