Voloch, Doron Shlomo
Ben Irene and Jacob. He was born in Nes Tziona on September 10, 1970, the eldest brother of Shai and Kobi, and when Doron was four years old, his father, Yaakov, died suddenly of cardiac arrest while serving in the army. And at the ORT high school in Rehovot, where he graduated – including the thirteenth year of studies – in electronics. During the elementary school period, Doron belonged to Maccabi Nes Tziona and took part in sports activities. Doron liked to read books, watch movies, travel, and enjoy a good performance from time to time. From all these he absorbed deep impressions, deeply engraved. In July 1988, Doron enlisted in the IDF and served as an electronics technician in the IAF, and the unit commander said: “His good heart, his willingness to carry out any mission and task, and the spirit of volunteerism that Doron demonstrated will always accompany us. “After completing his regular service he entered the labor market and after a while began to study electrical engineering at Ben-Gurion University in Be’er Sheva, and Doron was about to sign his academic studies in a final project that he began working on, and even stopped doing so In September 2000, Doron was called to reserve duty, during which he fell during his service at the age of thirty. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Nes Tziona. Survived by his mother and two brothers.
