Thanks to his personal charm and leadership, Moishek became a central figure in the class. A sensitive and turbulent heart integrated with a precise thinking ability; A romantic approach along with intellectual maturity, and for all this, he was kind and outstanding in human love. His great ambition was to be a human being, in the profound sense of the word. There was devotion and loyalty in goals he set for himself and honesty and integrity in his worldview. He was prepared to fight against anything he thought was unjust; Integrity with himself and with his actions guided him in choosing his way of life, Moshe was drafted into the IDF at the end of July 1962 and was assigned to serve in the Armored Corps, and after completing his basic training courses for tank commanders and armored corps officers, As an officer he made sure to carry out every task completely, up to the last detail, but at the same time he never stopped worrying about the welfare of his soldiers. After completing basic training, and after completing his training courses for tank commanders and armored corps officers, he was appointed as a platoon commander in the Armored Corps, and as an officer he was meticulous in carrying out every mission to the last detail, but he did not cease to worry about the welfare of his soldiers. He was always an excellent commander, and the army took an important place in his life, and by nature, he was a fighter – both in the IDF and in civilian life. After being released from regular service, he was sometimes called for periods of active reserve duty. As part of his reserve service, he completed a course for commanders of company companies in the Armored Corps, served as a deputy company commander, and sometimes served as a company commander. In the Six Day War, he fought as an officer in an armored unit. After his discharge, he began studying at the Technion in Haifa in the Civil Engineering program. He lived in a modest student apartment, learned a lot vigorously and also traveled extensively around the country. These characteristics also marked him in the places of work he worked after completing his studies at the Technion. He worked in an engineering and consulting firm and was involved in building planning, but most of all he wanted to be independent and not depend on anyone. He wanted to succeed in his work and in his life – in his own right, because of his personality and talents. To this end, he invested all his energies in work and studies, and agreed to work at relatively low wages, in order to study and advance, even if this would entail giving up immediate promotion and a high standard of living. In his workplace he was highly valued, and he assumed greater responsibility than was required of him – and was well promoted. Later, he was appointed as the director general of the Israel Defense Forces – a factory for the manufacture and construction of prefab houses for new immigrants. In this work he spent nights and days, marveling at his energy, his talent, and his desire to bring out perfect work. Moishek liked company and loved to entertainHis friends in his house, and for their part they loved him and the house he had established for him. He maintained close ties with his family, was an enduring devotion to his parents and sister, had a strong love for his wife and above all – he loved his son, Adi. During the Yom Kippur War, Moshe took part in the braking battles against the Egyptians in Sinai. In an attack on the bridge in the area of Pirdan, on the 8th of Tishrei 5734 (October 8, 1973), Moshe was hit while standing in the tank turret and was killed. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. Survived by a wife and son, parents and sister. After his fall, he was promoted to the rank of Major.
