Vishkowsky, Moses (“Vichy”)

Son of Israel and Sonia. Born in Tel Aviv on February 22, 1950. Studied at the Weizmann School and the ORT vocational high school in Jaffa, Moshe was a member of the Maccabi youth soccer team and was the goalkeeper of the senior group. He devoted his time to reading books and was drafted into the IDF in February 1968, where he served in a workshop in which he fulfilled his duties with dedication and efficiency. On the 25th of Iyar 5729 (April 25, 1969), he fell in the course of his duties in the workshop and was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, where the director of the Weizmann School wrote in his memory: “Moshe was a nobleman, The word. His friends, teachers and managers could trust him. Everything hard to do at school was directed to Moshe’s address – and without a word he volunteered for every mission, stuck to it and carried it to the ground. “The physical education teacher at his school wrote about him after they fell:” A magnificent building and an excellent athlete; Quiet, serious, clever, and responsible; A child who could be relied upon by one hundred percent. “
