Vilnai, Hanoch

Son of Mordechai and Rachel. He was born on January 8, 1948 in Givat Brenner. He grew up and was educated on the kibbutz and completed his high school. He belonged to the Hanoar Haoved movement and worked in agriculture. He knew how to take responsibility for the tasks he was assigned. Hanoch was drafted into the IDF in July 1966 and served in the Nahal paramilitary brigade, and shortly thereafter came to an officer’s course, and even stood out for his resilience and responsibility. On the 2nd of Adar 5767 (13.3.1967), while he was in training, he fell while fulfilling his duties and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Givat Brenner.
