Vensman, Zvi
Sheindl and Lazer’s only son was born in 1921 in the town of Sobin near Otwock, Poland. Graduated from elementary school. In the Nazi invasion of Poland, during the Second World War, he fled to Soviet Russia and, with the Polish army, joined him and reached the rank of officer. At the end of the war he was liberated and settled in Germany. Zvi immigrated to Israel immediately upon the declaration of the state. Upon his arrival he joined the Givati Brigade and fought on the southern front. Was a force that defended Beit Afa near Negba, faced a heavy Egyptian attack and was forced to retreat. In this battle he fell on the 9th of Tammuz 5708 (9.7.1948).) He was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Rehovot.
