Vanunu, Mordechai (Moti)

Vanunu, Mordechai (Moti)

Ben Margalit and Micha. Brother to my uncle, Liat and Susie. He was born on December 16, 1973, in Beit Dagan. For many years, Mutti grew up as an old son and was given a treat from his parents, grandmother and aunts. Moti, a warm child, full of energy and joy of life, knew how to return pampering and love to his entire family. His love for life, his curiosity, and the sense of adventure he had endured, often caused concern to his parents, who had to run to the hospital to cast a limb in his body. But his sense of humor and jokes around the table managed to dissolve even the toughest. Despite the seemingly tough facade, Moti was endowed with sensitivity and understanding, and he always knew when to reach out and help and when to surprise him with a gift, a good word and an embrace that grew stronger as he grew older. Moti attended elementary school in Salomon, and continued at the Maayan elementary school in Rishon Letzion. He began his high school studies at the Technion Technical College in Haifa, continued at Amit Amel high school in Rishon Letzion, and graduated from the Ankori High School in Tel Aviv. For many years, Moti and his studies were not synonymous and despite all the threats and punishments of his teachers and teachers, Motti found more interest in the sea, even in turbulent times. But when the time came, Moti revealed responsibility and successfully completed all the matriculation exams before enlistment. Unlike studies, Moti and his friends were certainly synonymous. Moti was a sociable boy and could hardly be caught for a moment without his friends around him. They spent hours together, organizing party parties, running together and gossiping about girls. His house was always full of friends who sat and joked, raided the refrigerator and slept on the carpets. Moti, with his charm, managed to gather around him a large group of friends, who have remained in touch to this day. At the beginning of August 1992, Moti was drafted into the Armored Corps and became a tank driver, and was described by his commanders as a dominant soldier, full of joie de vivre, who led his friends behind him, remembered as a smiling soldier with a special sense of humor Moti fell in the line of duty on May 8.5, 1994 and was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Rishon Letzion, where he was left at the age of twenty-one, and was survived by his family and friends. From a poem written in his memory, on the third anniversary of his death: “To remember this moti is to remember a smile that begins with lips and Remember Mutti Remembering Mutti is to remember a house full of friends who always stay / remember Mutti at the Sabbath meals with the jokes and laughs / to remember Mutti in the fights / games / to remember Moti And remember all the different types of fractures / memories of Mutti who had been out of school all the years / and in the two years he completed all the tests / to remember Mutti who helped and supported at all times / to remember Muti who kept giving / recalling Moti who demonstrated Responsibility, ambition and determination / recall The memory of the sensitivity / remembrance of Moti in love / home love, family, love to friends, country / love to the sea, waves, love adventures, thrills / love for music and dancing, love parties and women / The student, the soldier / to remember Mutti the friend, the lover, the friend / to remember Muti the boy, the boy and the guy who did not grow up / remember Mutti who went and will not come back to remember Muti.
