Vaknin, Moshe

Son of Yosef and her Yedida. He was born on August 13, 1938, in Haifa. He studied and graduated from the Brandeis School of Mechanical Engineering. As a young man, the family was loved by all and his mother indulged him and asked him to postpone his army service and continue his studies. But Moshe did not hear her voice and decided to enlist with his friends in the Hashomer Hatzair branch. He was killed in the IDF’s emergency cemetery, but a few months after his enlistment, a Sinai system broke out, and in Rafah, on the 27th of Cheshvan 1957, he was killed in during Rafiach battle. on the 28th of Tishrei 5758 (October 23, 1957) was transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
