Vaknin, Ilan
Son of Aviva and Yair. Ilan was born on February 2, 1971. He was a brother of Anat and a twin brother of Ilanit, who grew up in the Shimshon neighborhood of Ashkelon, studied at the Rotem Elementary School and continued his studies at the ORT high school in the city. Ilan was a dynamic, lively and active child and loved to help everyone, especially his sisters Anat and Ilanit. His parents trusted him in almost everything, since he had shown responsibility and independence from an early age. After completing his studies in 1990, Ilan was drafted into the IDF, where he sought to continue his father’s path, and he devoted all his efforts to success, and was known as a good friend who gave his Lev and soul to his friends. Ilan was a regular soldier in the Nahal Sorek facility, where he also received a sergeant’s course, and after completing his army service, Ilan became a career soldier, but he also wanted to continue his career as an officer in the Border Police Ilan was transferred to the Border Police patrol in Jaffa in order to realize his ambition and intended to take officer’s exams, but did not he? 25.
