He completed his studies at the ORT Beit Shean Comprehensive High School in the biological track. His uncle, as David was called, was a beautiful boy. His eyes are blue, his hair is fair and he has a smile on his face. School was prominent in the social and sports. He was pleasant and sympathetic to his teachers and friends, as his teacher, Shlomit, attests: “Your image and your pleasant personality are mentioned before me / I remember your eyes shining like a spring / that makes peace, tranquility and love. They were a symbol of class. It’s very hard to forget a good boy like you. ” He was a member of the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed youth movement, took a course in young instructors and graduated with honors. Dudu was an outstanding athlete. He played soccer at the Hapoel Bet She’an tennis team at the local community center, and when he was sixteen he won a gold medal in the tennis tournament in the north of the country, where he volunteered to train youth in tennis, but he did not show much for his talent. When he drew the symbol of his unit on the wall of his room in an outpost in Lebanon and was told by some of his friends to draw the sergeant for them, his uncle was surrounded by friends and went with them on trips around the country and trips to Tiberias and Haifa. At any time, at any hour to take us where we wanted. You were shy, you were ambitious, and whatever you wanted and wanted to reach was accepted. “Dudu was a loyal son and devoted to his parents, and served in the family and society as a model for a good and obedient child who helps his parents. When he reached the army he was determined to volunteer for a combat unit, and when he was recruited in early November 1989, he volunteered to serve in the infantry and was assigned to the Givati ​​Brigade. He was trained as a fighter and was proud to receive the badge and the purple cap. He did not say much about his difficulties at home and never complained. He was given a responsible job and wanted to be a guide and an officer. On the 17th of Elul 5709 (17.9.1990) his uncle fell in the line of duty and was brought to eternal rest in the military section of Beit Shean cemetery. Survived by his parents and two sisters – Galit and Efrat. In a letter of condolence to the family, his commander wrote: “David served in the Shaked Battalion in the infantry and was an outstanding soldier, a friend and a friend, a soldier who performed his tasks meticulously, professionally and with high motivation. I am sure that his character and personality will be a spring from which we can draw a little consolation. “
