Vaknin, Asher (“Prosper”)

Son of Yehoshua and Mazal. He was born in 1947 in Morocco and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1956. He studied at a vocational school in Jaffa and excelled in the field of sports, and especially in soccer. During his spare time he liked to work in various handicrafts, such as ceramics and artistic arrangement of wax candles. He was a good and devoted son and helped to support the family. Was a cheerful fellow with a sense of humor and loved by all his friends. Who enlisted in the IDF in early February 1965 and served in the Medical Corps on September 19, 1971. He fell in the line of duty and was put to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
