Uziel, Daniel


Son of Leah and Victor, was born on October 27, 1926 in Jerusalem. Daniel was a high school graduate. He joined the Hagana and served there as a squad commander. At the beginning of the war, he moved to the Etzel, entered the Latrun base, which was established by the inmates of the prison, and served as a regular corporal, and was one of the organizers of the Haganah in Yemin Moshe. The Arabs of the region began to harass the right of Moses in those days, and Daniel fell in the Arab attack on occupied Malcha on the 8th of Tammuz 5708 (14.7.1948). He was buried in Sheikh Bader Aleph. 22 years old. On the 28th of Elul 5710 (10.9.1950) he was put to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem
