David ben Ya’ara and Joseph. David was born in Moshav Nativ Hashayara in the Western Galilee on the 26th of Adar 5767, April 7, 1967. He completed elementary school in Moshav Regba, and the Acre High School for Marine Officers. David enlisted in the Navy and served as a guide in the Bee Unit. In March, 1989, after his discharge from the IDF he joined the police. David was killed on the 17th of Sivan, June 11, 1998 in the pursuit of a stolen motorbike. Sergeant David was thirty-one years old. He was buried in the Haifa cemetery, where he left behind a wife and nine-month-old daughter, parents, brothers and sister.
