Uri David

David, son of Yaara and Joseph, was born in Moshav Netiv HaShayara in the Western Galilee on April 7, 1967. He completed elementary school in Moshav Regba, and the Naval Officers High School in Acre. David joined the Navy and served as an instructor in the Bee unit. After his release from the IDF, he joined the police on March 24, 1989, in the tracking and reconnaissance units.

David was killed on September 26 in Sivan 5766 (11 June 1998) while chasing a stolen motorcycle. Advanced Sergeant David was thirty-one in when he fell and was laid to rest in the Haifa cemetery, his hometown,  He left behind a wife, nine-month-old baby, parents, and siblings.
