He was recruited on November 24, 2010, to the “Granit” 932 battalion. He was a member of a battalion commander’s unit and was a commander in the border area of ​​the Gaza perimeter zone. Idan died a year and four months after enlisting in the army. Sergeant Idan Tzur fell during his service on the 2nd of Adar, February 25, 2012. He was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Ra’anana, leaving behind his parents and brother.
