Tzur (Deri), Gil

Tzur, son of Shalom and Fortuna Gil, was born on September 28, 1936 in Tunis, Tunisia. He immigrated to Israel in 1952 as part of Youth Aliyah. On the second day of the Six-Day War, on the 27th of Iyar 5727 (June 6, 1967), he fell in the line of duty with his comrades-in-arms. He left a wife and a girl. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
