Tzukerkendel, Michael (Micha)
Son of Pinchas and Clara. He was born on the 17th of Kislev 5707 (17.11.1944) in Odessa, Russia, a period of war and suffering, wandering and suffering, a time of blood and fear of the Holocaust. Michael felt a spiritual trait of the love of nature, the love of the Yaffa and sublime in the worldview, his lying in a fresh grass on the riverbank, or chasing after a butterfly without an attempt to grasp it but out of a desire to watch the color of his wings, He was loyal to his conscience and helped his family out of her distress – and not only the material distress came to an end, but the wanderings ended and Michael immigrated to Israel. When he arrived in Israel, he immediately went to the Ulpan, which was on the kibbutz, where he studied and worked – and his yearning for nature and knowledge was satisfied, and he was loved by him and willing to help anyone, even those he did not know. In November 1964 he enlisted in the IDF and volunteered for a unit whose tasks were to challenge him. In the parachuting school he was and on the 28th of Tevet 5726 (19.1.1966) he passed away and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Ashdod. His memory was mentioned in Uri Milstein’s book, “The Paratroop Wars.”
