Tzitiat Aryeh


Son of Ya’akov and Mazal. He was born on March 28, 1937 in Kfar Sirkin, and attended elementary school in the village. He was a simple boy in his manner and manner, humble and modest, kind and honest. He had “gold hands” and he was engaged in many different tasks – and he succeeded in all of them. Arieh was drafted into the IDF in October 1956 and successfully completed a driving course, and since then he and the steering committee have been inseparable. Because of this love to Israel he volunteered during the War of Attrition to work with his car on the front lines in Sinai, even though he was exempt from security service because of his health. In his responsible and dedicated work, he was appreciated by everyone he knew. On the 12th of Iyar 5729 (April 30, 1969), Aryeh fell in an enemy bombardment while performing his duties in the area of ​​Port Tawfiq. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. He left a wife and two children.
