Tzirin, Asher

He was born in 1901 in Latvia, Russia. He joined the Hehalutz movement and in 1921 he immigrated to Eretz Israel and worked in Sarafand with the “Dinsk Group.” On 23 Nisan, 1.5.1921, in Jaffa, Arab rioters were armed with rifles and the mob managed to break into the house he was guarding. They killed twelve of its residents. The dead were buried in a mass grave in the old cemetery in Tel Aviv.
