Tziporin, Moshe
Moshe, son of Rivka and Yaakov Tziporin, was born on the 18th of Tamuz, July 6, 1928 in Tel-Aviv. Moshe devoted himself from his youth to underground Haganah operations. He was a member of Hanoar Haoved, a member of Hapoel and served for a while in the directorate of Hapoel. At the outbreak of the War of Independence, he was one of the first volunteers. Moshe was attached to a unit on Saturday night, December 6, 1947 and was called to the Shapira neighborhood, in its defense against Abu Kabir, its location in one of the adjacent post’s most dangerous places. The next day, on the 24th of Kislev 5708 (December 7, 1947), during the battle, three enemy bullets hit him and he died. MOshe was 19 years old. Moshe was brought to rest in the Nahalat Yitzhak Military Cemetery.
