Tzik, Shmuel-Moshe

Son of Yehuda-Yosef and Devorah. Born on December 5, 1947 in Dombrava, Romania. Until the age of 14 he studied in an elementary school in his hometown in the morning, and in the afternoon he studied Torah in the cheder. For one year, he studied carpentry in a vocational school. In 1964 he immigrated to Israel with his family. He was not inclined to continue his studies and began working in a wire factory. In his youth he was active in sports and collected coins and symbols. Occasionally he would work in the garden next to the house. He was very interested in politics and was always eager to know what was going on in the world. Even before immigrating to Israel, he always dreamed of being a soldier in the IDF, and his dream came true when, at the end of November 1966, he was drafted into the Armored Corps. He took part in the Six-Day War and after the war spent several months in the kibbutz. The way of life in the kibbutz and the social and economic life in which he had his Lev. On the 22nd of Tammuz 5729 (22.6.1969), he died and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
