Son of Refael and Miriam. He was born on the 5th of Elul 5718 (August 21, 1958) in Givat Olga, where he completed his studies at the Amishav Elementary School and then continued his professional studies at the Amal High School in Hadera. In the 11th grade he began working in a factory in Netanya, where he was very successful in his work and was appreciated by his superiors. Everyone knew Shimon as a kind, friendly, devoted and loyal boy to his family and friends. He was naturally optimistic, cheerful and full of joy. Was loved and accepted by his friends. Shimon devoted most of his spare time to sports, especially playing football and was considered a very good player. He spent time with his friends watching movies and traveling around the country. In his home there was a pleasant atmosphere, and the relations between parents and children and between the children themselves were Yaffa and friendly. The house was always open to guests and friends who felt there as their home. Shimon was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in late April 1976 and volunteered for the Paratroopers Brigade, after which he was given paratrooper wings and was assigned to a Paratroopers Brigade, and despite his hard training he maintained his cheerfulness and encouraged his friends.
