Tzelil , Solomon

Son of David and Ella. He was born on February 20, 1941, in Rishon Letzion. A descendant of a veteran working family and fourth generation in Israel. He studied at Haviv Elementary School in Rishon Letzion and later at the local high school. He belonged to the Hanoar Haoved movement; As an athlete he was a member of Hapoel and loved music and painting. He studied economics and statistics at the Tel Aviv branch of the Arab University. He was a gentle person and always felt the help of every injured person. He took care of his family with great devotion, always in words of encouragement and in a worn-out way. He was drafted into the IDF in November 1958. He held responsible and even dangerous positions in his service as a pilot and reached the rank of lieutenant, and his simplicity and modesty were among his most outstanding talents in the course of his duties. On the 29th of Iyar 5724 (April 29, 1964) he fell and was brought To rest in the military section of the civilian cemetery in Rishon Letzion.
