Tzadik, Tzadok


Son of David and Mezzly. He was born in Nissan in April 1933 in the city of Nakinin, Iraq, where he studied at the “Israel Friends” school and also in high school, and for two years served as a youth counselor and educator for Zionism. He immigrated to Israel via Iraq-Persia, and after he immigrated to Israel, he was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces, and before he completed his army service, he fell in the course of his duties in dismantling mines. This was on the 21st of Tammuz 5712 (14.7.1952). He was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Rishon Letzion.
