Tzabari, Yechiel (‘Hilik’)
Ben Yonah and Sa’adia. He was born on November 10, 1949 in Kiryat Ata. His parents, from Yemen, immigrated to Israel during Operation Magic Carpet and spent their first years with Yechiel in tents in the transit camps under difficult conditions. He completed his studies at the Rambam Elementary School in Kiryat Binyamin and completed his high school studies at the Tuam School in Kiryat Ata, in the framework of frameworks. Yechiel, smiling and shy, had already found enthusiasm in his youth for any national interest connected to the love of the land. He joined the navy in May 1968 and served as a quartermaster in the career army. First and foremost Yehiel was a family man. In the family meetings there was the living spirit, which brought laughter and vitality to everyone. He loved traveling and on every occasion he went with his family to tour Israel and combined it with his favorite hobby, photography. Yehiel fell during his service on 13.3.1991 and was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Haifa. He left behind a woman – Ruth, two daughters – Liat and Mittel, son of Amir, parents, three sisters – Shulamit, Esther and Bracha and three brothers – Mordechai, Ben Zion and Aryeh.
