Tzabari, Shlomo


Shlomo, son of Saadia and Naomi Tzabari, was born in Yemen in 1947. Two years later he was brought to Israel, where he studied at Agudat Israel’s school and completed his studies there. He excelled in his role and fit into the unit. Before the Six-Day War, he was called to reserve duty and fell in a battle that took place on the outskirts of Gaza on the first day of the battles, on the 26th of Iyar 5727 (June 6, 1967). He was laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
