Tzabar, Yoel

Son of Yitzhak and Devorah. He was born on 25.10.1951 in Hadera. He completed his studies at the elementary school in Beit Eliezer and continued his studies at the Hadera high school, in the real-world track. He was an athlete and a very fit gymnast and was a member of the Gadna Rifle Squad, where he especially liked chemistry and invested much of his energy and diligence in chemical experiments and studies, and in the second week of February 1970 he was drafted into the IDF. During his military service, he took a scouts course and went down with his unit to the Canal Line, where he completed a course on reconnaissance patrols on 7 May 1971. He was laid to rest in the military section of Hadera’s cemetery.
