Tsabari, Ilan
Son of Leah and Saadia. Ilan was born on September 11, 1973 at Rambam Hospital in Haifa, grew up in Kiryat Ata, spent his first years in the Arazim kindergarten and later in the Avivim kindergarten. He studied at the Pinsker Elementary School, the Rogozin Junior High School and the Ramat David Industrial School for Aviation Professions. In 1991, Ilan completed his studies, joined the army and served in the Golani Brigade. He was released on 15 November 1994. After his discharge from the IDF, Ilan joined the police force in January 1995 and served as a combat soldier in the SJ District, and later served as a prisoner escort at the Kishon Detention Center. In August 1999 he moved to YSM Beach, a YASAM patrolman, and was involved in operational missions. Ilan was a courageous and loyal policeman, with operational qualifications, accepted by his friends – and the only thing about him was a place of profound significance. In 2000, Ilan completed his degree in Judaism at Beit She’an, at Midreshet College. In October 2000, Ilan’s daughter, Stav, was born. First Sergeant Ilan fell during his service on May 10, 2003. He was buried at the cemetery in Kiryat Ata.
