Ben Ines and Michael. He was born on 27.1.1973 in Hadera. He studied at the Itamar Elementary School in Netanya. Afterward, he graduated from the Tchernichovsky High School in the real world. Aviv excelled in his studies, especially in English, mathematics and physics. He was interested in many different fields. He was a sports fan and was swimming and running and playing basketball. He painted well and responded to the requests of his friends and painted on the walls of their rooms figures and works of contemporary posters. He also liked to travel with friends around the country. Aviv was tall and thin. He was happy, pleasant, and friendly to his friends. After completing his high school studies, he was accepted to study aeronautics at the Technion as part of the academic reserve, but decided to give up his studies in order to enlist in the IDF and serve with his peers. After four months in the course he voluntarily gave up and was assigned to the Armored Corps. After completing his training course as a combat soldier and successfully completing a course in command and control, he was assigned to a unit in the Golan Heights in the capacity of commander of the Merkava tank, whose members say that Aviv did his duty with love, seriousness and loyalty and was very personal. On February 20, 1993, on the eve of his twentieth birthday, Aviv fell in the line of duty and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Netanya. Left his parents and brother – Oren in a letter of condolences to the bereaved family, his commander wrote: “At the end of his training as a tank commander, Aviv returned to service in Lebanon.
