Ben Bluma and Moshe. He was born on 14.11.1949 in Haifa. Ze’ev began studying at the Ahuza Elementary School in Haifa. When he was eight, he traveled with his parents to the United States and the family settled in New York. Zeev continued to study and to be educated at Yeshivat Akiva in New York, at the Columbus Yeshiva and at the Liman College in the English Literature Department. After completing his studies, Ze’ev began preparing for his immigration to Israel and his enlistment in the IDF, and in 1968 he was in Israel, at the Yodfat cooperative moshav, where he made contact with members of the Nahal Brigade and chose to serve in the IDF. Who immigrated to Israel in September 1969. In late 1969, Ze’ev was drafted into the army. He went out with the nucleus to an early infantry brigade and to basic infantry training as part of a Nahal battalion. Ze’ev was sent to expand his combat training as part of the Artillery Corps and set out for the course. In the course of his service, Ze’ev was a lone soldier in the IDF. When he was promoted to the rank of sergeant, his commander wrote: “Ze’ev is a personal example of the other soldiers.” Toward the end of his military service, the nucleus was in Yodfat. Zeev was involved in the development of bulbs and bulbs of irises and narcissus. He was sent for a short time to study the subject in the United States. After his release, Ze’ev married his girlfriend Brenda and they expanded their home on the birth of their four children. At the end of October 1989, Ze’ev was called up for active reserve duty and went with his unit to the Gaza Strip. On November 13, 1989, during a tour of Gaza, Ze’ev was hit in the head. He was transferred to Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva. The injury was mortally defined. On the fifteenth of Cheshvan 5715 (November 15, 1989), Ze’ev passed away and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Yodfat. His tombstone reads: “Fell in battle in Gaza.” Survived by Raya – Brenda, three daughters – Esther, Avital and Masha, son – Katriel, mother, sister – Shoshana and brother – Ephraim. His mother died after his fall. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, the commander of the unit wrote: “Ze’ev gave his life for his homeland, he served in the battalion in the Artillery Corps, was an intellectual and a spirit of spirit.
