In his doctoral studies. In 1962 he founded the agricultural department of the Agan Chemical Company and was appointed director of the department. The subject of his thesis in the Department of Pathology in the Faculty of Agriculture was the changes in the resistance of the oats plant to the malignancy of the reed, during the stages of plant development. Another work of his, related to the discovery of a new stem of the cane, was published in the scientific journal Phytopathology. He also studied other grain diseases and conducted the first controlled trials in Israel in the control of root diseases using methyl bromide. The research brought with him important scientific discoveries that also had a practical impact on the growth of tomatoes and the eradication of root diseases in Israel, and was published in professional journals abroad.
