Touboul, Moshe


Son of Shimon and Szila. He was born on August 27, 1959 in the Neveh Oved neighborhood of Tiberias near Tiberias. He completed his studies at the elementary school in Neveh Oved. He was a member of the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed youth movement, and thanks to his dedication to the movement and his skills, he served as an instructor at an early age. He spent two years at the high school in Kfar Batya (Ra’anana). He completed his carpentry course and served as the basis for his future livelihood. One year before joining the army, he worked in carpentry and was Simcha to help him maintain his family. Moshe was an avid sports fan. He played football in the framework of Hapoel’s Hapoel team. He also studied karate at the Herzliya Institute, and after gaining much control in this sport, he led a group of young people at his place of birth. After enlisting in the regular army, he was assigned, after basic training, to a transport unit in the maintenance corps and served as a tanker driver. But his period of service in the army was short, for three and a half months later his fate was cruel. He fell during his service – on the 16th of Adar I 5738 (22.2.1978). He was brought to rest in Tiberias. Survived by his parents, six brothers and a sister.
