Toruk, Peter
The only son of Laszlo and Sophia. He was born on May 2, 1947, in Hungary. He graduated from elementary and high school in Hungary. In 1968 he immigrated to Israel alone. From Israel, he wrote to his parents in Hungary letters full of enthusiasm for his life in Israel, about the country he called wonderful and for its people who were kind and kind to him. In these letters, he expressed the tremendous satisfaction he derived from his life and his service to the state. At the beginning of 1969 he was drafted into the IDF but was unable to serve for about eight months, and died on February 1, 1970. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
