Toister, Avraham Aharon

Son of Miriam and Ze’ev. Born in 1888 in Safed to a family of four boys and three girls, he studied in a yeshiva in his hometown, where he married a wife, established a family and worked for a living. Later left Safed and lived in Afula and later in Haifa. On J7 Tamuz, July 6, 1938, during the bloody riots in the Arab market in Haifa, Avraham was shot and killed. He was laid to rest in the Haifa cemetery. He left behind a wife, three boys and two girls.
